| Morgan Hill Weather News: Friday 11/28/2008 5:30pm Here's a webcam snapshot of this evening's sunset... Friday 11/28/2008 12:25pm Amongst the gray and murky skies of this last week, managed to catch a pretty sunrise over the south valley area... Sunday 11/23/2008 4:55pm Another UFO? No... I think it is an airship. A good old blimp! Sunday 11/23/2008 4:30pm Bird bath or deer drinking fountain? Oh... and let's not forget the sunset! Thursday 11/13/2008 2:15pm There's a serious accident on 101 southbound south of the Cochrane intersection in Morgan Hill. Appears to have been an overturned vehicle on fire. All lanes were blocked for awhile although one lane of southbound traffic is now being allowed past the incident. Northbound traffic is slow at the scene too. Avoid the area if you can!! Tuesday 11/11/2008 5:25pm This evening's sunset... Tuesday 11/11/2008 4:45pm Here are some webcam sunset snapshots from the last few days... Thursday 11/6/2008 3:25pm Site updates and webcam access have been offline for about the last 12 hours due to a network outage at Charter Communications. Normal operations have now been restored. Monday 11/3/2008 4:40pm Although it be the season for all things political, this site is not a political forum. However, we do run ads placed and controlled by Google, Inc. The same Google that has been widely reported as opposing the very controversial Prop 8. Interesting then that this site has been blanketed by Google-delivered Yes on Prop 8 ads for most of today. Not wanting to enter the political fray or appear to endorse any opinion on that particular debate, I used my limited power as a Google publisher to ban ads for the Yes campaign's website. As I write this little missive, I still see Yes on 8 ads being run. Some hours after my request to ban. Not an unprecedented delay but a little annoying. It only takes about 10 minutes for a newly created ad to appear... for example. So does this constitute two-faced behavior on Google's part? Profit rules over politics and social conscience? Or just sound stewardship of shareholder value? You be the judge. Get out and vote! The rain should be gone by tomorrow. Apologies to any and all who might have been offended by the messages within these ads. I'm sure you're not visiting us to see more political propaganda. Before you ask, yes I could remove the ads completely as a means to filter political messaging and the possibility of profiting from it. I still reserve the right to do just that!
