| Morgan Hill Weather News: Thursday 11/29/2007 5:00pm Stunning sunset this evening and it's still in progress. Here are a few shots so far... the last one is from the webcam!!! Wednesday 11/28/2007 6:30pm What did that controlled burn look like from down in Morgan Hill today? Answer... nuclear war ! Scary !! Wednesday 11/28/2007 3:25pm Looks like the controlled burn has been concluded but we still have some pretty unusual smoke patterns over the city of Morgan Hill... Images of the smoke plume can be seen in our time-lapse movie Theater . Wednesday 11/28/2007 1:15pm Big smoke over Henry Coe Park once again. According to CDF and County Fire radio traffic, this is a controlled burn and 100% contained, burning as intended but nevertheless pretty fierce and making lots of smoke. Wednesday 11/28/2007 9:00am Yesterday's sunrise had a little color in it... Sunday 11/25/2007 5:00pm If you have not already checked out our new web cam then give it a try. The image quality is just so much better than before plus we now have an automatic time-lapse capability for the last 100 images viewed. Take a look at an image from tonight's sunset, happening right now... and another from our digital camera. Thursday 11/15/2007 6:00pm Very colorful sunset this evening... Sunday 11/11/2007 10:20pm To further enhance the new web cam viewing experience, I have implemented a seamless update script (no image flash on reload) and increased the update frequency -- currently once every 10 seconds, but subject to change. This gives the impression of watching live video with a very slow frame rate. It is possible these changes will not scale well with multiple simultaneous viewers so please let me know if you encounter any problems. The time to load the very first frame has been significantly increased so don't be surprised to see a "loading... please wait" message for a few seconds after opening the page. Saturday 11/10/2007 4:30pm Here comes the rain... Saturday 11/10/2007 7:15am Before you ask... the web cam is not broken, it's just very foggy this morning! The view was better yesterday afternoon... Friday 11/9/2007 1:45pm Web cam service has been restored with a new hi-res camera and in a new location! Over the next few days, I will be experimenting with different viewpoints and 24 hour service, including nighttime city lights. Apologies for the recent interruption in service. Enjoy! Monday 11/5/2007 1:00pm A light blanket of wispy fog covered the south valley this morning. Thursday 11/1/2007 8:25am Another very foggy morning greets us on this first day of November.
