| Morgan Hill Weather News: Saturday 8/29/2009 5:20pm A second fire developed this afternoon along Pacheco Pass Hwy route 152 (east) near Bell Station. CAL FIRE responded with multiple air units to try and contain the fire early on. From our vantage point, a large smoke plume could be seen developing behind the Jackson Oaks community although the fire was no where near this location. Saturday 8/29/2009 2:00pm CAL FIRE is mobilizing multiple resources to fight a wildfire developing in the Santa Cruz mountains in the vicinity of 340 Summit Road. The fire started just before 1pm this afternoon and is in the Mt. Madonna area off Hecker Pass Hwy route 152. Check our webcam archive for images of the fire. Friday 8/28/2009 1:40pm A three acre grass fire behind 33 La Crosse Drive has been controlled by units from County Fire. Thursday 8/27/2009 10:40pm Eerie images of a mushroom cloud billowing up from the Gloria Fire that started around 3:00pm this afternoon in southern San Benito County, east of Gonzales. These photos were taken from Morgan Hill looking south across Gilroy at 6:20pm ...
